Network/Systems Engineer
Our Network/Systems Engineer is a senior level position, responsible for establishing and managing our end clients’ networks. This is achieved by quickly resolving client service requests processed through our ticketing queue and responding to automatically generated monitoring alerts. Core competencies include:
Qualified Network Systems Engineer applicants must possess the following experience and certifications:
- 5+ years of experience in computer network management is required
- Network Systems Engineer should possess strong computer skills and knowledge of routers, layer 2/3 switches, and other networking devices
- Advanced knowledge of all Microsoft Workstation Operating Systems and Applications
- Expert level Windows Service Platforms 2008 and above
- Expert level Microsoft Exchange 2007 and above
- Expert level Windows 7 and above
- Extensive knowledge of TCP/IP Networking
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to provide and maintain detailed documentation on each job completed
- Ability to work on multiple priorities and/or projects simultaneously
- Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written
- Strong customer relationship skills absolutely essential
- Network Systems Engineer must be organized, detail oriented, and self-motivated
- Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) is required
- Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) is required
